I’m Marie Bagby, the MS/HS Registrar, and proud to say I was a Coupeville High School graduate. I feel very fortunate to have been able to stay on Whidbey Island for my adult life and raise our four kids here. I’m also proud to mention that each one of our kids graduated from CHS and continued their education also graduating from college and two from grad school.
My husband, Ron, is a teacher at CMS/CHS in his 30th year of teaching, and he also spent 26 years coaching CHS football. I have my AA and worked periodically as a Licensed Practical Nurse over 10 years, then decided I wanted to work in the Coupeville School District.
My experience here has been very satisfying. During the past 17 years I have worked as the MS/HS Registrar and Attendance Secretary, and as an Elementary School Paraeducator. I truly love my job, enjoy our forward-thinking student body, and appreciate our hardworking staff and administration. The level of care and support that comes from the teachers and administration and from all departments – including paraeducators, maintenance, transportation, and secretaries is clear. All staff strive to positively influence students, assisting them be successful and realize/reach their full potential.
